Check the Lifting Tools; Tackles & Crane have fitness validity, certificate and color coding. Ensure the area is free from obstacles for crane operations and ground is properly compacted. Check the slings, chain, ropes, eye bolt, pallet, container are not damaged and safe for lifting the load. Verify the workers are trained for heavy lifting operations and non-essential person leave the area before lifting operations starts Remove the sleepers, slings and D-shackles Make the area clean and tidy
